DOING OUR HOMEWORK

Our Gloucestershire workshop is located in an old cider mill. This beautiful timber-framed building, which still retains the original mill and press, is an ongoing restoration project. So, when we are not making furniture, we can test our joinery skills on ourselves.

Having restored the building’s framework, we were able to add new oak double doors last year. At last, we have been able to replace the old, blanked-off window spaces with new oak windows. Now, the workshop is bathed in bright and even light and we expect to be a lot warmer in winter.
